Grzegorz Luniewski, 36, of Riverhead, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Feb. 29 at 12:26 p.m. in the parking lot of the Mattituck Shopping Plaza, after police responded to a call of an erratic driver in Mattituck, police said. Police located Luniewski and his vehicle at the plaza and, after investigation, Luniewski was found to be intoxicated, police said. The defendant was transported to police headquarters in Peconic, processed and held overnight for arraignment.
