Police: Woman Hits Ex, Tries Pulling Him from Car in 7-Eleven Lot

• Kately Worysz, 21, of Southold, was arrested on charges around midnight on Monday morning and after police said she violated an order of protection. Southold Police said she tried pulling her ex-boyfriend out of his car in the Mattituck 7-Eleven parking lot and hit him several times. Police said Worysz opened the car and started hitting him before the incident ended. She was charged with harassment and criminal contempt.

• Thomas Hobson, 32, of Laurel, was arrested shortly after midnight on Sunday morning and charged with DWI, after he reportedly refused to take a breath test. Police said Hobson stopped for a traffic violation on Peconic Bay Boulevard and was found to be intoxicated. 

• Jonathan Busch, 30, of Palm Beach, Fla. was charged with harassment in the second degree and disorderly conduct after cops said he punched a Whiskey Wind bouncer in the face around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. According to police, Busch was escorted outside of the Front Street bar after the incident, and the fight ensued outside. A police officer reported seeing it, broke it up, and placed Busch under arrest.

• Stanley Koubek, 68, of East Marion, was arrested on Aug. 23 on DWI charges. Police said he was seen around 9 p.m. swerving outside his lane of travel on Route 48. He was reportedly found to be intoxicated and arrested. 

• Thomas Sypher, 45, of Southold, was arrested on Aug. 18 and charged with issuing a bad check and petit larceny. According to police, Sypher ordered a take out meal from a local restuarant - police did not specify which one - and paid for it via check. The account from which the check was drawn had insufficient funds, police said.
