Police: Westhampton Woman Pushes Way Into Mattituck Home
Southold Town Police arrest Sharon Rosato with criminal trespass Tuesday morning.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
Sharon Rosato, 49, of Westhampton, was charged with criminal trespass on Nov. 27 at 11:32 a.m., after police responded to a call that Rosato knocked on the door to a residence on New Suffolk Avenue in Mattituck and when the homeowner came to the door, Rosato asked if she could go inside. The homeowner said no, but Rosato pushed her way inside, police said. Rosato was arrested and was transported to Southold Town Police headquarters in Peconic, where she was processed and later released on bail.
