Andrew Epple, 50, of Peconic, and Shane Alexander, 49, of Mattituck, were taken to the hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries after a car crash in Mattituck on Oct. 18 at 3:16 p.m., Southold Town Police reported.
Epple was southbound on West Mill Road when Alexander attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection of West Mill and Bayview Avenue, police said. Epple and Alexander were treated by members of the Mattituck and Cutchogue Fire Departments respectively and were transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center and Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
