A Greenport motorist and her passenger were hospitalized after being involved in a car crash on Aug. 9 at the corner of Route 25 and Chapel Lane in Greenport, reported.
Connor Stepnoski, 20, of Southold, was driving south on Chapel Lane at 8:13 p.m., when he neglected to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Chapel Lane and Route 25 and hit a vehicle driven by Alma Sandolval, 47, of Greenport, who was traveling west on Route 25, police said. Members of the transported Sandolval and her passenger to for treatment to injuries. Stepnoski claimed no injuries. Sandolval was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
