Police: Two Charged With DWI Over Weekend

Southold Town Police make two DWI arrests.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• Timoteo Velesquez-Ramirez, 46, of Greenport, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Nov. 9 at 9:06 p.m., after police stopped him for failing to keep to the right side of the roadway while operating a 1995 Saturn 2-door sedan southbound on Third Street in Greenport, police said. A subsequent investigation found that Velesquez-Ramirez was intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing, and was held overnight for arraignment.

• Teresa Froller, 50, of Deer Park, was charged with DWI on Nov. 10 at 9:39 p.m. after police stopped her for failing to maintain her lane of travel on Route 48 in Southold, police said. She was found to be intoxicated, was arrested and held overnight for a court appearance.
