Police: Truck Drivers Stole From Hospital While Making Delivery

Southold Town Police charge two men with grand larceny.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Two delivery truck drivers have been arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny, after police learned that they stole items from on May 1, police said.

Fabian Rojas and Kevin Green were delivering freight on May 1 and upon leaving the receiving area stole an exhaust fume hood, a stainless steel sink with a stainless base, a heavy steel fire door, two ping pong tables, a computer printer, an electronic medical monitor and a steel file cabinet, police said. The items are believed to be valued at more than $5,000.

Police tracked down the thieves who were making deliveries to the other East End hospitals and they were arrested, police said. Rojas and Green were held overnight at Southold Police headquarters pending arraignment.
