Police: Teen Steals Condoms from 7-11; Obama Car Vandalized

In other police news, a Cutchogue man flees car accident scene after hitting a fire hydrant on Nassau Point Road.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• An 18-year-old Mattituck man was charged with petit larceny on Oct. 15 at 2:40 p.m., after police observed him on video surveillance stealing a box of condoms from Mattituck 7-11, police said. He was arrested and released on bail for a later court date.

• Luke L. Mastrorocco, 18, of Cutchogue, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license on Oct. 19 at 9:02 a.m., after he lost control of a 1997 Lincoln while driving west on Nassau Point Road in Cutchogue, struck a fire hydrant then a tree and then fled the scene, police said. Mastrorocco returned to the scene about 45 minutes later and was arrested on the above charges.

• A Southold woman reported to police on Oct. 23 that someone had vandalized her Honda Accord with black spray paint, covering up Obama and Bishop political bumper stickers, police said. The car was parked in her driveway on North Bayview Road while she was away from home Sunday and Monday, when she told police she believes the vandalism occurred. The incident is still under investigation.

Our car had all four of its tires slashed in a Southold Beach parking lot at 6pm last summer resulting in $500 for new tires plus flatbed towing charges. We have an Obama bumper sticker on the car. The tire repair shop said he had seen a number of car with tires slashed, although I do not know how many had Democrat stickers. When we reported the crime the policeman did not seemed surprised.

This is what no brain, racist, Republicans, under educated, & ill informed lacking the ability for critical thinking do, Not smart enough to know that a vote for RoMoney and Lyin Ryan is a vote against their own best interests. This atmosphere of hate is truly disturbing and I hope not, but fear that it is, an indication of things to come. Anyone who would slash tires or other wise vandalize someones 2nd biggest asset, over a bumper sticker would support killing a woman to save the life of a possibly unviable fetus. Would vote to ban unions so that they could work as slave laborers. Would gladly give their hard earned and meager salaries to the already bloated rich to "ensure job creation". Of course the jobs would be in China but so what? They would be in favor of starting a war with Iran and sending Americans to die all to keep the war machine filling the pockets of RoMoney and his munitions dealing friends. They would give up their rights and the rights of the rest of us to get that black family out of the White House. At ANY cost. They claim that they are not racist but we all know that's a fallacy because there is no other possible reason that otherwise good people would vote against the interests of themselves and their country in favor of those who would control every single aspect of our lives while telling us that they want smaller government. I ask that in every situation presented ask yourself "who benefits"
