Police: Sound Beach Woman Charged With Marijuana Possession and DWAI

Marcello Greco-Jacobs, 36, of Sound Beach, was charged with driving while under the influence on drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding, and failing to signal on Route 48 in Cutchogue on Tuesday at 8:59 a.m. After police stopped Greco-Jacobs for a traffic violation, they found her to be impaired and also found her to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said. She was arrested, transported to the hospital where she submitted to a blood test, and was then taken to headquarters in Peconic where she was held for arraignment, police said.
