Police: Rocky Point Woman Busted for DWI
Southold Town Police charge Rocky Point woman with drunk driving in Greenport over the holiday weekend.
Diane Rutt, 57, of Rocky Point was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday at 6:11 p.m. after police stopped her for failing to stay in her lane and for having an obstructed view as she drove a 2001 Dodge east on Route 48 in Greenport, police said.
Rutt failed several roadside sobriety tests and was transported to police headquarters in Peconic where she was processed and held until her arraignment Sunday morning.
