Police Report: Three Incidents of DWI

Southold Town Police report three incidents of driving while intoxicated this week.

Walter Warner, 47, of Mattituck was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle after police observed him operating a 2009 BMW motorcycle on Sigsbee Road in Mattituck on Nov. 23 at 9:43 p.m. Warner refused to stop for a marked police vehicle, attempted to turn onto a gravel roadway and lost control of the motorcycle and collided with two parked vehicles. He was found to be intoxicated, was arrested and airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital, police said.

Scott Kessler, 47, was charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident on Sunday at 8:21 p.m., after police received a call about a green Ford leaving the roadway on crashed in the median of Route 48 in Peconic. Kessler was found to be intoxicated and his vehicle was impounded due to a prior DWI conviction, police said.

Betty Bolling, 28, of Laurel was charged with DWI on Thursday at 3:17 a.m., after police stopped her for a traffic violation while she drove west on Route 48 in Mattituck. She was found to be intoxicated and her vehicle was seized due to a prior DWI conviction, police said.
