Police Report: Teen Charged with DWI on St. Patrick's Day
Southold Town Police report one incident of driving while intoxicated last week.
Natasha Lovaas, 18, of Greenport was charged with driving while intoxicated last Thursday, St. Patrick's Day, at 9:21 p.m., after police stopped her for failing to stop at a traffic light as she drove a 2010 Volkswagon eastbound through the intersection of Front and Main Street in Greenport, police said. After investigation, Lovaas was found to be intoxicated, police said.
None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were charged with the above offenses. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
