Police Report: DWIs and Aggravated Unlicensed Vehicle Operation
Southold Town Police report two incidents of driving while intoxicated and one of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
Calixto Alberto, 28, of Central Islip was charged with felony driving while intoxicated on Saturday at 11:59 p.m. after police stopped him for failing to maintain his lane while driving a 1993 Toyota westbound on Route 25 in Southold. He failed several sobriety tests and his vehicle was impounded due to a prior DWI conviction.
Charles Flatt, 64, of Mattituck was charged with aggravated DWI on Sunday at 9:06 p.m., after police stopped him for a traffic violation as he drove on West Mill Road in Mattituck, police said.
Roque Ocha, 32, of Southold was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle on Feb. 16 at 7:07 p.m. after he was stopped when a police officer's computer check revealed that Ochoa's driver's license was revoked for DWI, police said.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were charged with the above offenses. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
