Police Report: DWI, Aggravated Harassment, Tequila Theft

Southold Town Police report incidents of driving while intoxicated and aggravated harassment.

Michael Dougherty, 53, of Mattituck was charged with driving while intoxicated on Monday at 8:10 p.m. after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Breakwater Road in Mattituck, police said. He was found to be intoxicated after investigation of the accident and was processed at headquarters to await arraignment, police said.

Chester Friszolowski, 49, of Cutchogue was charged with aggravated harassment on Tuesday at 11:39 a.m. after officers responded to a call of a domestic disturbance involving Friszolowski and a female victim at a Stillwater Avenue residence in Cutchogue, police said. Friszolowski was arrested at the residence and taken to police headquarters in Peconic until his morning arraignment.

A 56-year-old Greenport woman reported to police that someone stole a $1,000 flat screen TV and a $50 bottle of Patron tequila from her Greenport condo sometime between Aug. 26 and Sept. 2, when the woman left during , police said. Police said that there were no signs of forced entry into the condo. Investigation continues.
