Police Report: DWI and Criminal Trespass

Southold Town Police report two cases of driving while intoxicated this week, one resulting in a car accident.

Matthew Conlon, 28, of Peconic was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday at 1:57 a.m., after police responded to reports of an overturned car on Route 48 in Peconic. Officers located Conlon at the scene of the accident and found him to be intoxicated, police said. Conlon was not injured.

Sergio Ruben Osorio, 23, was charged with driving while intoxicated and traffic violations on Saturday at 4:21 a.m., after police observed him crossing the double yellow line of Route 25 in Southold as he drove a 1994 Toyota pickup truck west on the roadway.

Michael Webster, 21, of Southold was charged with criminal trespass on Saturday at 9:34 p.m., after the owner of a home on Main Street in Greenport called police to tell Webster to leave the residence, which he refused to do after being told several times to do so at the scene.

Rene Rodriguez, 47, of Greenport was charged with exposure of person, a violation, on Saturday at 2:12 p.m., after police saw him urinating in Mitchell Park on Front Street in the village. Police said that Rodriguez was highly intoxicated.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were charged with the above offenses. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
