Police: Laurel Woman Charged With DWAI After Involvement in Car Accident

Dorothy Guthrie, 41, of Laurel was charged with driving while impaired by drugs on Thursday at 5:20 p.m. after police responded to the scene of a car accident in which Guthrie was involved on Bray Avenue in Laurel, police said. After investigation, was found to be impaired by drugs and was arrested and held overnight at police headquarters in Peconic pending arraignment.
