Police: Fishers Island Man Arrested for Failing to Pay Child Support

Southold Town Police Department detectives arrest a Fishers Island man with active arrest warrants out for not paying child support.

Kevin Carroll, 49, of Fishers Island was arrested on Jan.7 at 9:30 a.m. by Southold Town Police detectives on charges of theft and failure to pay child support, police reported. Carroll had active arrest warrants out of Baltimore County, Maryland, police said. He was arrested without incident, transported by Southold Town Police Bay Constables to police headquarters in Peconic for processing and was turned over to the Suffolk County Police Fugitive Squad for extradition to Maryland, police said.
