Police: Drunk Driver Involved in Cutchogue Car Accident
The driver was from Southold, police said.
A car accident led to an arrest in Cutchogue Sunday after the driver was found to be intoxicated, police said.
According to Southold Town police, a man was involved in an accident on Route 25 in Cutchogue on Sunday at 7:17 a.m.
Police said further investigation revealed that Christopher Bany, 45, of Southold, was intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment.
