Police: Cutchogue Woman Charged With DWI; False ID Charge in Greenport

Southold Town Police charge a Cutchogue woman with driving while intoxicated; Greenport man with active bench warrant gives police a false name.

• Susan Langenfass, 47, of Cutchogue, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Thursday at 2:26 a.m. after police stopped her for failing to maintain her lane while driving east on Route 25 in Cutchogue with a flat tire and other recent damage to her vehicle, police said. After investigation, Langenfass was found to be intoxicated, was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and held pending arraignment, police said.

• Gerber Montenegro-Perez, 26, of Greenport, was charged with giving police a false name on Thursday at 3:30 a.m., after a police officer who knew that Montenegro-Perez had an active bench warrant stopped him while walking down Main Street in Greenport, police said. Montenegro-Perez was unable to produce an identification card and gave the officer a false name, police said. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held pending arraignment.
