Police: Cutchogue Man Speeds Through School Zone Without License

Southold Town Police charge a Cutchogue man with aggravated unlicensed operation this week.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Luis Osorio, 25, of Cutchogue, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding on May 31 at 8:29 a.m., after police stopped him for speeding in the speed zone on Route 25, police said. A Department of Motor Vehicles check revealed that his driving privilege had been revoked, police said. He was arrested, transported to Southold Police headquarters in Peconic and released on an appearance ticket to return to Southold Justice Court at a later date.
