Police: Cutchogue Man Speeds Through School Zone Without License

Southold Town Police charge a Cutchogue man with aggravated unlicensed operation this week.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Luis Osorio, 25, of Cutchogue, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding on May 31 at 8:29 a.m., after police stopped him for speeding in the speed zone on Route 25, police said. A Department of Motor Vehicles check revealed that his driving privilege had been revoked, police said. He was arrested, transported to Southold Police headquarters in Peconic and released on an appearance ticket to return to Southold Justice Court at a later date.

Tsk! The school zone was unlicensed?

No, apparently you need a license to speed through a school zone... Now where do I get one of those? Could be handy.

Duh.....where do you two come from?? How rude!! This person was ticketed for speeding in a School zone AND not having a drivers license - two offenses.

Another example of the difficulty of creating a concise, to-the-point, title for and article (Nut, Bolts and Screws) 8>)
