Police: Cutchogue Man Gets DWI After U-Turn Onto Lawn

Brian Evans, 59, of Cutchogue was arrested for driving while intoxicated and impaired by drugs on Thursday at 12:06 a.m. after police saw him fail to stop at a stop sign and attempt to make a U-turn at the intersection of Route 25 and Alvah's Lane in Cutchogue and drive over a lawn, police said. Evans did not stop for the officer trying to pull him over until he pulled into his driveway at Alvah's Lane, police said.
