Police: Cutchogue Man Crashes Motorcycle Without License

Southold Town Police charge a Cutchogue man with aggravated unlicensed operation after motorcycle crash.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Nelson Garcia, 37, of Cutchogue, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Sunday at 11:46 p.m. after he was hospitalized following a motorcycle crash on Sound Avenue in Mattituck, police said. Garcia was operating a 2007 Suzuki sportbike eastbound on Sound Avenue and for unknown reasons veered across the roadway and struck a fire hydrant north of the roadway, police said. Members of the Rescue responded and transported him to , where he was listed with minor injuries.
