Police: Connecticut Man Drove Drunk Without License

Southold Town Police charge a Connecticut man with DWI in Laurel.

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Henry Garcia, 22, of Danbury, Conn., was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on May 30 at 12:33 a.m., after police stopped him for a traffic violation on Route 25 in Laurel, Police said. He was found to be intoxicated, arrested, transported to police headquarters in Peconic, processed, and held for arraignment. His vehicle was seized due to a prior DWI conviction and his privledge to operate a motor vehicle was suspended, police said.
