Police: Greenport Man Busted for Pot Possession After Alleged Assault

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Paris Parks, 20, of Greenport, was charged with assault and unlawful possession of marijuana on Dec. 15 after police responded to a report of two men being assaulted outside of a Greenport restaurant, police said. The two men were transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment to injuries whil police located Parks, who was questioned about the incident and was found to be in possesion of a small amount of marijuana, police said.
