Police: Bellport Man Busted on 2010 Drug Charges

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

Tremayne Smith, 36, of Bellport, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 28 at 10:15 p.m., after police arrested him on an arrest warrant from 2010, police said. Smith was transported to police headquarters in Peconic here he was processed and held for arraignment.
