Police: Aquebogue Man Charged With Rape, Criminal Trespass

Southold Town Police report arresting an Aquebogue man for rape following an investigation of a domestic incident.

Jeffrey Ireland, 50, of Aquebogue was charged with third-degree rape, first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree criminal trespass on Friday at 5:09 p.m. after Southold Town Police completed an investigation of a domestic incident, police said. Ireland was processed and held at Southold Town Police headquarters and was then transferred to the Suffolk County Correctional facility on $25,000 bail.

Jordan Lang, 28, of Jamesport was arrested on Sunday at 12:37 a.m. for having several warrants out from the Suffolk County First District Court after police stopped her for riding a bicycle with no lights on Route 25 in Cutchogue, police said.
