Nearly two hours before high tide, waters are rising in Flanders Bay near Reeves Creek in Aquebogue ahead of Hurricane Sandy's predicted arrival.
A man removing his sailboat from the marina at the corner of Cedar Street and Meeting House Creek Road in Aquebogue told Patch the water was at approximately 4' above sea level around noon.
