A Peconic woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Cutchogue Friday night, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Gilda Martinez, 48, of Peconic, was stopped at 9:38 p.m. after police said she failed to stay in her designated lane while traveling east on State Route 25 in Cutchogue.
Police said the defendant was administered roadside sobriety tests and failed.
Martinez was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and failure to maintain lane.
She was transported to Southold Town police headquarters and held pending arraignment in the morning at Southold Town justice court.
