Orient FD: No Injuries in Friday Night Car Crash

Orient Fire Department Chief says that the man who hit an Orient utility pole Friday night was unharmed.

A 70-year-old man who hit a utility pole with his car on the corner of Route 25 and Narrow River Road in Orient Friday night was uninjured, according to Joe Wysocki.

Wysocki said that the man hit the pole just before 8 p.m. on Friday and the department responded at 8:12 p.m. Emergency medical vehicles were called to the scene, but the man refused treatment, Wysocki said.

Traffic was diverted around the scene of the accident, which was cleared at 9:14 p.m.
