Police and emergency responders rushed to the scene Saturday night of a serious accident that led to multiple injuries on County Road 48 in Southold
Two Medevac helicopters landed at a staging area on Youngs Avenue and County Road 48, to transport victims of a two-car accident that occurred at the intersection of Kenney Road and County Road 48 at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to emergency personnel at the scene.
Traffic was backed up heading westbound as ambulances and police cars rushed to the scene.
