Artie Brewer knows best how to deal with all the outsiders who want to change what is good here.

Did he say what he was challenging? Were there principles, specifics or was it personalities?
Eric Larson December 14, 2013 at 03:26 PM
He challenged the incumbent, Brewer. The challenge was to get the most votes in the election for position of fire Commissioner. The intent is to raise the "service awards" or pensions given to firemen, to pay for their health and car insurance and exempt them from property and local sales tax. It would be paid for by increased taxes from the grateful residents.
