Cutchogue Man Hospitalized After Route 25 Crash

A 74-year-old man suffers injuries during Wednesday car accident.

William Krill, 74, of Cutchogue, was hospitalized after involvement in a car crash on Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. on Route 25 near Cases Lane in Cutchogue. Krill was traveling east on the roadway when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a Long Island Power Authority pole, a street sign, then a tree, Southold Town Police reported. Krill was treated by members of the Cutchogue Fire Department then transported to Stony Brook University Hospital by Suffolk County Police Aviation. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
