Cops: Woman Used Senior's Credit Card Info to Pay Cable Bill

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

A Laurel man was arrested on Saturday for reportedly stealing a motorcycle from a Mattituck resident.

According to Southold Police, 21-year-old Frank Fenoy Jr. was arrested on charges of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. Police said that a 46-year-old Mattituck resident reported last September that three dirtbikes/motorcycles were stolen.

On Saturday, Fenoy was arrested, processed, and released on bail to appear in Riverhead Town Justice Court.

Lacole Smith, 24, of Riverhead, was arrested on felony charges of identity theft in the second degree on Sunday.

According to Southold Police, an 89-year-old Greenport resident reported in mid-January that someone had charged something his or her credit card.

Following an investigation, police reported that Smith used the victim's credit card information to pay her Cablevision bill.ย 

She was arrested and released on bail, to appear at Southold Justice Court.

Dennis Reilly, 39, of Southold, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with DWI.

Southold Police reported on Sunday that Reilly was speeding on Route 48, when he was pulled over and reportedly found to be intoxicated. He was transported to headquarters for processing.
