Cops: Woman Stole $1,200 Diamond Necklace From Friend's Home

The woman also had two active warrants, police said.

A woman was busted after she stole a $1,200 necklace from the home of someone she knew, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Lynn M. Danowski, 36, of Flanders, was charged with larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, after police said she stole the gold and diamond necklace from a Southold home, where she was an acquaintance of the homeowner.

Danowski was arrested at her home in Flanders, police said. She was transported to Southold police headquarters, where she was processed and held for arraignment.
  
Danowski also had two active warrants out of Southampton Town justice court, police said.
