Cops: Woman Drove Drunk, Charged With Felony
The woman had a prior DWI conviction, police said.
A Riverhead woman is facing a felony charge after police said she drove drunk on Route 48 in Mattituck Saturday.
According to Southold Town police, Jamie L. Walsh, 29, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, at 10:16 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Walsh was stopped for traffic violations while operating her vehicle eastbound on Route 48 in Mattituck and was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed, and held for arraignment.
Her vehicle was seized due to a prior DWI conviction, police said.
