Cops: Woman Charged With Possession of Controlled Substance

The woman was stopped for traffic violations, police said.

A woman was busted in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving for criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the Southold woman, 20, was arrested on County Road 68 and Cox Lane in Cutchogue at 12:35 a.m. on Thursday for traffic violations.

Police said she was found to be in possession of Alprozolam and amphetamines; she was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
