Cops: Woman Charged With Driving While Intoxicated
Police said she was observed to be driving around the parking lot of the hospital.
A Shirley woman was arrested on Friday in Greenport and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Maria, Alongi, 47, of Shirley was arrested on Manor Place at 1:40 a.m. Friday after police said they received a report of a suspicious vehicle seen being driven around the parking lot of Eastern Long Island Hospital.
Police said Alongi was driving the vehicle and was found to be intoxicated; she was arrested and held for arraignment.
