Cops: Woman Charged With Driving On Drugs, Speeding
The woman was busted in Mattituck, police said.
A Shirley woman was busted after police said she was driving while impaired by drugs in Mattituck Monday.
According to Southold Town Police, Bonnie Jean, 57, was stopped for speeding on Love Lane and Route 48 at 11:02 a.m. on Tuesday. Further investigation revealed she was impaired by drugs and in possession of marijuana, police said.
She was arrested, charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and transported to the Southold Town Police Department where she was processed and held until her arraignment in the morning.
