An Orient teen was charged with driving while intoxicated in Greenport on Sunday, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Ryan Demartino, 18, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, on Route 25 in Greenport at 1:24 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said Demartino was stopped for failing to signal his left hand turn. Demartino failed several roadside sobriety tests given at the scene, police added; he was placed under arrest and transported to Soutold police headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment.
