Cops: Southold DWI Task Force Nets 4 Arrests

County and state police participated in the multi-agency task force.

Four motorists were cuffed when a task force organized to nab drunk drivers resulted in four arrests in Southold Saturday night.

According to Southold Town police, Kevin Manley, 34, of Westbury, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. 

Jose Hernandez, 20, of Riverhead, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

James Howard Miller, 61, of Williamsport, PA, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and Ryane Francis Hoeffling, 31, of Greenport, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.

The defendants were taken to Southold police headquarters, processed, and held for arraignment in Southold Justice Court.

The Southold Town police department along with Suffolk County Parks police and New York State police participated in the multi-agency DWI task force.
