Cops: Mattituck Couple Busted For Meth, Scales, Packing Materials

The pair were cuffed and held overnight for arraignment, police said.

A Mattituck couple was slapped with felony charges after an investigation that led to the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, packing materials and scales at their home, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Adam Huhn, 36, and Britni Jade Zielinski, 28, were arrested on Sunday at 5 p.m. at their Wavecrest Avenue home after an investigation by the Suffolk County East End Drug Force, Southold police, and Southampton Town police.

Police executed a search warrant at the couple's residence, where they recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, scales and packaging materials, police said.

Both defendants were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a misdemeanor, and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
 
Huhn and Zielinski were held overnight for arraignment on Monday in Southold Justice Court.
