A Mattituck teen was charged with possession of marijuana and fleeing from police after a K-9 search in Greenport Monday, authorities said.

According to Southold Town police, a 17-year-old Mattituck youth was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, after he fled the scene after being stopped by police on Front Street in Greenport on Monday at 8:24 p.m.
