Cops: Man Wanted On Warrants In 2 States Nabbed in Greenport

Police say they tracked down the suspect, wanted on drug and larceny charges, at his place of business.

A man who had warrants out for his arrest in two states was located in Greenport and brought into custody on Wednesday, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Westhampton Beach resident Joshua S. Flannery, 33, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. 

Southold Town Police Detective Edward Grathwohl said police had received information that there were warrants for Flannery's arrest; police went and found him at his place of work and arrested him, Grathwohl said.

Flannery was arrested on active warrants for, and charged with, a felony larceny offense, a petty larceny offense, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.

He was wanted on active warrants out of Marlborough, N.Y., and Lisbon Falls, Maine.

Flannery was transported to Southold police headquarters, then turned over to Marlborough police.
