Cops: Man Veers Off Road, Crashes Into Tree in Southold
The man failed to negotiate a curve in the road, police said.
An Elmhurst man was injured in a Southold car accident on Saturday, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Jose R. Rivera, 35, was heading eastbound on New York State Route 25 at 10:33 a.m. in Southold when he failed to negotiate a curve, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree.
He was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center with injuries by Southold Fire personnel, police said.
