Cops: Man Nabbed For DWI in Cutchogue

The driver was stopped for failure to maintain lane, police said.

A Cutchogue man was cuffed early Tuesday after cops caught him driving drunk, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Gregory R. Burns, 52, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Astro van east on New York State Route 25 and Stillwater Road in Cutchogue when he was stopped on Tuesday at 12:26 a.m. for failure to maintain his lane. He was given roadside sobriety tests and found to be intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and taken to Southold police headquarters for processing and to await arraignment, police said.
