Cops: Man Nabbed for DWI in Cutchogue

Police said the man failed several field sobriety tests.

A man was cuffed on Sunday for driving drunk in Cutchogue, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Daniel Grace, 52, of Ridgefield, Connecticut was arrested at 9:42 p.m. at the intersection of Route 25 and Depot Lane after he was stopped for failure to maintain his lane while traveling westbound.

After detecting an "odor of alcohol," police said the officer at the scene conducted several field sobriety tests on Grace and determined Grace was intoxicated.

Grace was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, processed and held for arraignment in Southold Justice Court.
