Cops: Sleeping Drunk Man Had Bag of Coke, Stolen Credit Card

Police said the man was found sleeping on the porch of a closed Greenport business.

A man was arrested in Greenport on Sunday after police said he was caught sleeping on a front porch with a bag of cocaine and a stolen credit card.

According to Southold Town police, Elvir Antontio Leon-Ulloa, 26, of Greenport was arrested on Front Street at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday and slapped with felony charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of stolen property.

Police said officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man sleeping on the front porch of a closed business.

Upon arrival, officers said they located Leon-Ulloa, who was found with a bag of cocaine, as well as a stolen credit card in his wallet, police said.

Leon-Ulloa was arrested, transported to Southold police headquarters, processed and held until his immigration status could be determined, authorities said.
