Cops: Man Drove Drunk With Suspended License

Cops said the drunk driver failed to maintain his lane.

A Southold man was cuffed after police said he drove drunk and unlicensed on Route 25 in Greenport. 

According to Southold Town police, Roger Fay, Jr., 42, of Southold, was arrested Saturday at 7:28 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree.

Police said Fay was stopped for failing to maintain his lane while traveling eastbound on Route 25. He was arrested, transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment, police said.
