Cops: Man Charged With DWI in Mattituck
Police arrested the North Babylon man on County Road 48.
A North Babylon man was charged with driving while intoxicated on Thursday night in Mattituck, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Patrick M. Omara, 47, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Shirley Road and County Road 48.
He was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be intoxicated; police said. Omara was arrested and transported to Southold Town police headquarters, where he was processed and held for arraignment.
