Cops: Man Busted for DWI After Mattituck Car Accident
The accident happened on Sound Avenue, police said.
A Peconic man was cuffed on Monday morning after police said he drove drunk and got into an accident in Mattituck.
According to Southold Town police, Ryan Mazzel, 21, was arrested at 7:27 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after he was involved in a car accident on Sound Avenue and found to be intoxicated.
He was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed, and held for arraignment, police said.
